Roma chief Gian Paolo Montali is convinced the return from injury of Francesco Totti will hand them the advantage in their Scudetto battle with Inter Milan.
Totti made his comeback against Inter on Saturday night, replacing Mirko Vucinic as a late substitute as Roma won 2-1 at the Olimpico.
Montali said: "Totti is the added value for the end of the season. He had a problem and the greatness of this team has been in bearing the absence of its captain.
"Roma must always have the courage to think big and have great players, and we are thinking about this.
"As for Ranieri, he is one of the few Italian coaches to have toured the world. He has worked within the squad and this is a fundamental component.
"Ranieri is much more than a modern person. He has brought his style. We can say that Ranieri is the creator of this team's success."
