Roma chief Monchi has cooled talk of an approach from Juventus for Emerson Palmeiri.

Monchi was asked about reports that Juventus are ready to offer €20m for left-back Emerson in January.

He said, “I read it in the paper this morning. We are at a moment of the season where a different story will emerge every day.

"We want Emerson to reach his level, there is nothing in it and we have not received any contact, not talked to anyone about Emerson.

"It doesn't exist."
