Roma chief Monchi is interested in Valencia goalkeeper Diego Alves.

Roma are said to have an agreement already in place with the player, who is looking for a move, and to have made an offer to Valencia.

Although the company which represents the 32-year-old, Promoesport, have denied that any such deal has been made.

Marca says there is indeed interest from Roma and that directors at the Mestalla are planning for the shot-stopper's exit.
