Roma chief Bruno Conti has slammed the wailing from Inter Milan after Saturday's triumph.
Wesley Sneijder claimed he deserved a penalty on the night, while there were also accusations that Roma targeted returning Inter defender Cristian Chivu.
"At the end of the game, I heard things that I didn't like," Conti explained.
"Roma gave a great performance against Inter and they need to take off their hats."
When asked if Roma intentionally played long balls into the box to test the insecurity of Chivu who has only just returned from a fractured skull, Conti said: "Chivu is a great man. We have spoken before and after the game.
"I can say that anything but this kind of wickedness came from the Roma bench. Whoever said as much should think again a little in the cold light of day and give Roma credit.
"I think that in football we also need to know how to lose."
