Roma chief Bruno Conti admits their defeat against Atalanta has hurt the club.
"It's a defeat that hurts. It was really ugly," Conti explained before offering an analysis of where Roma went wrong.
"We never had a shot at goal," Conti said. "The fact all our rivals drew doesn't make it any sweeter either.
"Certain false steps make you reflect, but it's now time to start all over again and up until now the boys have always done it."
Conti does not believe the performance will affect Roma's build up to their Champions League clash with Arsenal, though.
"We go into it not just well, but very well," Conti insisted. "Physically, we are in great shape. But first there is Siena in the championship and we have to think to that game."
