Roma chief Mauro Baldissoni has dismissed talk of Walter Sabatini quitting.
The sports director has been linked with Chelsea and Bologna.
Baldissoni said: “I read a lot of rubbish… Roma expected to be further ahead in the table, but that doesn't mean we have to stage a revolution every week.
“The director will stay in his place and is currently working on the transfer market. He will remain there. We will evaluate the situation only at the end of the season. The things that don't work imply more effort to improve ourselves. The responsibility is to be shared out.
“Luciano Spalletti's objective is to rediscover Roma, put us in a condition to express our quality and get back to the level where we belong, finding a place in the Champions League."
