Roma are chasing St Etienne striker Bafetimbi Gomis.

St Etienne sports chief Damien Comolli has confirmed offers for the France international, but hopes to hold onto him for next season.

"We have received bids," said Comolli. "Gomis is a good player who we want to take with us."
