Roma are moving for Genoa midfielder Thiago Motta.

Corriere dello Sport says Roma have spoken with Falcao about his fellow Brazilian and been urged to go for the ex-Barcelona midfielder.

Motta has resurrected his career at Genoa after serious knee problems and is also admired by both AC Milan and Inter.

Meanwhile, Roma are in advanced Bosman negotiations with Bari defender Stefano Guberti. A verbal agreement exists, though Juventus and Fiorentina hope to scupper Roma's plans before Guberti's contract expires in June.
