Roma sports director Daniel Prade is moving for Atalanta wing-back Jaime Valdes.
The Chile international, 29, is also interesting Parma and Sporting Lisbon following Atalanta's relegation.
Prade wants to deepen Roma's squad this summer, but is working with a limited transfer budget, and has opened talks to bring Valdes to the capital.
