AS Roma captain Francesco Totti has played down talk of a return to the Italy squad.

Totti admits his full focus is on the Giallorossi.

"Compliments are always nice to receive and at this time I'm really getting a lot from Coaches, colleagues and many people who live and work in football," he wrote on his official website.

"I want to thank everyone and Coach Prandelli too because his words are certainly an incentive to do well.

"Of course, as it should be, I now live 90 minutes at a time, game after game, I focus on the present and right now I'm thinking about the challenge of Palermo.

"I can't wait to again take to the field with my teammates to continue this positive streak of results. I feel full of enthusiasm."
