AS Roma captain Francesco Totti says he's cleared the air with Pablo Daniel Osvaldo over their penalty bust-up in defeat to Sampdoria.

Osvaldo took the ball and placed it on the spot in the defeat at Sampdoria, despite the fact that Totti is the club's penalty taker. Osvaldo subsequently failed to score.

"I was initially left a little…" the No 10 told the Gazzetta dello Sport. "However, we clarified everything in the changing room.

"I have a good relationship with Daniel and I'm saddened that the fans have turned on him."
