AS Roma captain Francesco Totti says there are no thoughts of retirement.

He is the second all-time top scorer in Serie A history on 227 goals and at age 36 is still a key figure for his team.

"I don't know my limitations, but there is one thing I know perfectly well: my character," Totti told L'Equipe.

"I believe in the objectives that I set for myself. Football is wonderful because it always reserves some great surprises."
