AS Roma coach Zdenek Zeman has hinted the club has been talking with Pep Guardiola since October. The former Barcelona boss has been linked with Zeman's job only in the last week, with Roma GM Franco Baldini confirming talks with his good friend, though insisting the post was not discussed.

However, Corriere dello Sport says Zeman has put a different spin on the story, saying: "Guardiola is coming to Roma? I've known about this since October ..."

Zeman's comments are being viewed as a warning to Baldini that he's unhappy over the public association with Guardiola, which will only increase the speculation around his own job with the Giallorossi.
