Roma boss Luciano Spalletti has paid tribute to Francesco Totti on his 40th birthday.

Spalletti says he gives the veteran "10/10" for his career.

"I bought you a DeLorean from Back to the Future, so you can choose whether to go back or forward," Spalletti told Roma TV.

“Your shirt is Number 10, but now we are stuck at 9,9, because you were and are still a splendid False 9.

“With me out of 167 games you scored and made me celebrate 99 times. I hope we get to 100 as soon as possible, then I'll give you 10 out of 10."
