Roma boss Luciano Spalletti has been able to joke about an insult from Francesco Totti's wife on his 40th birthday.

Ilary Blasi called Spalletti “a small man" in her interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport.

In a tribute to Totti, Spalletti said: “As it's your party, I thought also about your old lady and got her a little gift too.

"It's a song by Mia Martini and she reminded me of it, giving me great joy. It's called 'Small Man.'"
