AS Roma coach Claudio Ranieri admits there was no serious offer from Liverpool.

Ranieri claimed talks with Liverpool last week.

But when pressed on the matter, the former Chelsea manager conceded: "If there was really an offer, I would say so. But there wasn't.

"However, I'm glad, it means that in England I left a good memory. But now I have this project with Roma.

"If the new owners want to keep me, I know what to do."
