AS Roma coach Rudi Garcia rates their Champions League clash with Manchester City as a Cup final.
Both teams need to win for any chance of reaching the knockout round.
"As I always say, every game is important," Garcia said.
"For us, this is a cup final. We shouldn't even be in contention in the sixth game, because we came out of Pot 4 while they're champions of England.
"As I said before [the last] game against CSKA Moscow, to win we have to come out and play.
"It's a special game, but we've prepared in a normal way, as we would for any other game.
"We want to progress for the fans, the club and for ourselves."
