AS Roma boss Rudi Garcia hailed the performances of Alessandro Florenzi and Seydou Doumbia in victory over Sassuolo.

Both players were on the scoresheet.

Garcia said: "I am very happy for Doumbia, who tonight scored a real centre-forward's goal. Tonight Miralem set the example for the others. Everyone can lift their level, but this is the right track.

"Florenzi is becoming a symbol of this Roma, the soul of the team, but I've been saying that since I arrived. He can do anything down the right flank and scored a wonderful goal.

"We are all proud of him, but he too cannot afford to relax for a second until the end of the season."
