AS Roma coach Rudi Garcia was delighted with victory over Napoli.
Miralem Pjanic struck the only goal of the game for Roma.
"The objectives today were to start strong and then be organised in defence, as Napoli have quality forwards," Garcia told Sky Sport Italia.
"We did pretty well and it's just a shame we didn't finish them off earlier with a second goal. I compliment the lads, as it was not easy.
"This is yet another confirmation that these players give everything on the field. We made a few mistakes in midfield, but saw the desire to fight to the last second."
