AS Roma coach Luis Enrique has warned skipper Francesco Totti he won't select players on reputation.
Totti was furious after being benched for the first-leg of their Europa League tie with Slovan Bratislava.
"I choose who I feel is ready and I won't change my system," said Enrique. "There has been a lot of talk, but I will not let myself be affected. Against Slovan I'll field the starting XI that I consider is best for this match.
"I don't read the newspapers. I have an objective to achieve and, even though I realise those who don't play cannot be happy, none of the players complained.
"Should Totti be treated differently? I have three children and treat them all equally. I watch the training sessions and make my judgment based on that. This is how I decide."
