Roma boss Enrique on Napoli win: My happiest day here

AS Roma coach Luis Enrique was thrilled with their 3-1 win at Napoli.

Enrique declared it the best day of his Roma career.

"This is my happiest day on the Roma bench," grinned the under-fire Spaniard.

"It was a completely crazy game, though. We were lucky and worked hard, but frankly any result could've come out at the end.

"Today my team welcomed modern football, because if you play against Napoli with a line-up that isn't both offensive and defensive together, then you're dead. The players have to sacrifice themselves."

It seemed a long way away from Enrique's possession football, as most of the goals came on the counter.

"I hope to learn Italian soon and become more Italian in football terms, though I'll never give up on attacking football.

"Everyone knows we play ball to feet and with that style there is always the chance to run into space, but I still think the best way of defending is to keep possession in the opposition area."
