AS Roma have announced the signing of Corinthians fullback Dodo.

The Brazilian flew in on Monday for the final talks and to undergo fitness tests.

"A.S. Roma confirm a five-year contract with the player Jose Rodolfo Pires Ribeiro (Dodo), which runs from today until June 30 2017.

"The player has come from S.C. Corinthians Paulista, with whom he rescinded his contract by mutual consent when signing the agreement with A.S. Roma."
