AS Roma sports director Walter Sabatini has announced they plan to bid for Barcelona striker Bojan Krkic.

Krkic is one of the hottest young talents in La Liga, but has far too much competition for places at the Nou Camp.

"It's true and I confirm this is a very realistic hypothesis, even if it has not been perfected yet," Sabatini told Rete Sport.

"We hope to complete the signing of Bojan in the next few days."
