LaPresse, Italy's leading multimedia news agency, has entered into a four-year strategic partnership with AS Roma, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.
Under the terms of the contract, LaPresse will exclusively distribute all photographic content involving the AS Roma first team and their academy. The agreement covers both domestic and overseas content, which will be provided exclusively by the club's photographers.
The images will be distributed in Italy through La Presse's publishing and online platforms. Meanwhile, the overseas pictures will be made available by way of LaPresse's international partners, such as global industry leader Reuters, Spain's EFE, Chinese press association Xinhua and the UK's Press Association.
The partnership will also see all of AS Roma's historic photos in the LaPresse archive moved to digital.
"We're pleased to have agreed this partnership with LaPresse because we are sure that this will be the ideal way to further grow and develop the club off the pitch," said Umberto Gandini, chief executive of AS Roma.
"Football is all about pictures and recording moments which will live on in the memories of our fans.
"From today and for the next four seasons, we will be able to tell our story via the quality and professionalism of a prestigious partner in the shape of LaPresse."
