AS Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi insists there wasn't any row with Simon Kjaer before the match against Atalanta.

De Rossi was dropped for the defeat.

"I was just careless," said the Italian player the day after, "we have rules to follow and Luis Enrique applies them without any favouritism. I didn't offend anybody, i didn't beat up anybody and I didn't run away."

The reason for De Rossi's exclusion was his delay at the pre-match meeting on Sunday morning, as confirmed by chief Walter Sabatini to the microphone of Sky Sport Italia immediately after the match.
