Rolando Aarons is ready to sign a new deal with Newcastle United.

The Evening Chronicle says talks were shelved last season, with Liverpool and Arsenal waiting in the wings and ready to pounce.

However, that has now changed and the 19-year-old will snub interest from elsewhere to stay at St James' Park.
