Marcos Rojo admits seeking advice from Juan Veron ahead of signing for Manchester United. The former Red Devils midfielder is now the director of sport at Estudiantes de La Plata, where he won an Argentine Primera Division title in 2010 with Rojo, who joined United in the summer as Louis van Gaal revamps his squad.
Rojo is excited about the future at Old Trafford, telling Radio Rivadavia: "I am very happy to have the chance to play in such an important team in the world.
"It really means a lot to me. I want to enjoy this moment because it's a dream come true.
"At Manchester there is a lot of quality, from the players to the training pitches.
"Before agreeing to sign for Manchester I spoke a lot with Veron, he suggested a few things to me."
