Rojo calls for calm at Man Utd

Manchester United signing Marcos Rojo has called for patience as the club looks to rebuild under Louis van Gaal.

The Argentine defender was signed from Sporting Lisbon in the summer transfer window, joining five other new players at Old Trafford, and he has urged calmness following a winless start with new manager van Gaal at the helm.

"There are some great players in the team. We obviously need to give time so the new manager can build this team," he told Perform.

"But with the great names we have in our squad and the intelligence of the manager, I am sure many achievements will come along."

As for his own individual move to United, Rojo was looking forward to developing his game with a massive club on the way to plenty of success.

"It is a huge step forward in my career and my life and I am very happy to play for one of the best clubs in the world at the moment," he added.

"I will try to find my place as soon as possible and help in every way I can so we get important trophies."
