Former Everton midfielder Jack Rodwell says his move to Manchester City was too good to turn down.
He admits he faces the biggest test of his career after swapping the Everton first team for the fringes of City's squad.
"It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity," said Rodwell, 21. "I believe in my ability and believe that whatever squad I join I can add to it. It might take some time, but that's what I'm there for.
"It's a great opportunity for me joining the champions. I'm still young and will try to work my way into the set-up. I will go there with the right frame of mind. It's a great squad and I'll have to work hard to get into the team.
"I'll find my feet first, have a chat with the manager and take it from there. I'll be playing with amazing players.
"They won the league last year and will want to improve on that by winning the Champions League, and it's so exciting to be part of that.
"I know I'll have to be patient, but I'm still young and have time on my side.
"I don't see why we can't dominate at City. I think all the top-four clubs think like that and there are a lot of clubs, especially Chelsea, who have spent big as well. I'm sure everyone will be fighting for it."
