Manchester City midfielder Jack Rodwell says new signing Jesus Navas will excite fans.
In Navas, they have a throwback to the golden age of wide men, Rodwell believes.
"He is unbelievably quick and adds something we didn't really have last season, a lot of width, pace and delivery," he told the Manchester Evening News.
"He is an old-fashioned winger who gets it, takes players on and is exciting. I am sure the fans will love him and he's a nice guy as well so he's good to have around.
"The others look really good too. Negredo is good in the air, a good forward who scores goals, and Jovetic is a young player with a lot of ability. They are good signings who have added quality to a squad that was already talented."
