Rodrigo Moreno was happy to score as Valencia earned a 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid.

Angel Correa opened the scoring for the visitors in the first half, however Rodrigo's strike in the 56th minute cancelled it out.

"Neither team can say the result is unfair," he explained in his post-match interview with BeIN Sport.

"The match was hotly contested, they may have a game-plan that seems simple but it's very effective on the pitch.

"They have great players, although it must be said that if we had won it wouldn't have been a crazy result."

He added: "Their trademark is they win many matches 1-0, which gave us very little chance.

"We have made a tremendous chance and have come away from it with a goal."
