New York Red Bulls will soon find out if English striker Luke Rodgers can play for the club this season.

The 30-year old is in the process of obtaining another US working visa so he is eligible to play for the Red Bulls with an answer, one way or the other, expected on Friday.

"It's always nice to get something done, (regardless if) it's this way or that way," said Red Bulls general manager Erik Soler said.

"I think it's good for everybody inside the team to finally know tomorrow what's going to happen and whatever direction it goes, we'll take it from there."

Rodgers has been stuck in the UK after having his initial application for a visa renewal rejected but his future, at the Red Bulls or not, will soon be defined.
