Rodgers insists Arsenal, Man Utd target Sterling will stay with Liverpool

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers insists they won't lose Raheem Sterling during next month's transfer market.

The Mail on Sunday says with Manchester City, Arsenal and Manchester United waiting in the wings, Liverpool are confident a deal with Sterling is imminent.

Rodgers stated after yesterday's 3-1 home defeat by Aston Villa: "I am not bothered by speculation about Raheem and other clubs. That situation (Sterling's contract) will be resolved soon, I'm sure."
