Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has steamed into his defence after their defeat to Udinese in the Europa League.
Rodgers has taken a hardline stance and left his players in no doubt that things have to improve or any hope of a top-four finish will be out of reach.
He said: "We just keep giving away poor goals.
"At Norwich on Saturday we scored five but they had three shots and to keep a team to three shots in the Premier League is a fantastic achievement.
"But when they're scoring two of the three it's very disappointing to say the least and it was the same against Udinese.
"It's just little simple things but all we can do is work hard. It shows we've still got work to do. It is a worry."
