Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers' future will be decided in the next fortnight.

The Sunday Mirror says Rodgers' Liverpool future will hinge on the assurances he gives to the club's American owners next month.

The Kop boss will meet with Fenway Sports Group president Mike Gordon in the next two weeks to undergo a debrief of a season that promised much and delivered little.

It is understood that Gordon won't just be demanding answers about the team's sixth-placed finish.

He will also look for proof from Rodgers that he is the right man to take Liverpool forward.
