Rodgers desperate for Swansea to record first win away

Swansea City boss Brendan Rodgers is determined to see his club secure their first lot of maximum points away from the Liberty Stadium as soon as possible.

The Swans are currently three losses from three away games but they have been against Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea.

Whilst their home form of two wins and two draws is commendable, Rodgers is keen to record victories away from the comfort of the Liberty and hopes it kicks off at Carrow Road against Norwich City this weekend.

"You need the confidence of the first points on the road but we are at a different level this season as well and every game is very difficult," he said.

"The players are more than good enough (to get the win) as a group but the first three games have been really tough, although we performed admirably in two of them.

"We are going to have tough games away from home but I have players who have improved technically, tactically and mentally and we hope that first win comes sooner rather than later.

"We are going down to Norwich in a different manner than when we went to Man City and Chelsea, and once we get that win it can ignite our away performances.

"But it doesn't matter if the points come at home or away, we need them."
