Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is delighted to be playing AS Roma at Fenway Park.

The game will be played in front of the club's Boston-based owners, FSG.

"It's fantastic. First and foremost, it's a great reward for the owners. They've invested not only money but also a lot of hard work into the club," said Rodgers.

"For them to be able to bring their football club to their home patch here in Boston is great, and for us as sports people, to be able to play in one of the most historic and iconic sports venues in America is very special."
