Rodgers content to remain with Swansea

Brendan Rodgers insists he is keen to continue on in his role as manager of Swansea City.

The 39-year old has done a brilliant job with the Welsh club this season and has been linked with other jobs, such as the Tottenham one if Harry Redknapp leaves for the England post, but says he is happy to remain at the Liberty Stadium.

"I take great satisfaction in my job here and it's nice and humbling whenever people are saying nice things about you, but for me there are many great managers at this level," he told Sky Sports News HD.

"My only concentration and focus is on our next game and trying to make sure that we can maintain the standards that we have set all season.

"When you do well, the players, the manager, the club - people are looking to the model of Swansea City now off the field and wondering how can a club with limited resources do so well? Everyone gets that attention, not just the manager.

"Our chairman has done a brilliant job here, he's been incredible in the last few years. But what's most important at Swansea City is the club's success.

"I love it here. I have been here a couple of seasons and we have had success here. There is always gossip and speculation, which you can't do much about, but I love it here and hope to continue."
