Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is confident his young players can fill the void left by Steven Gerrard.
Gerrard leaves Anfield in June for LA Galaxy.
"Steven is still a big influence," said Rodgers. "But in the same token, you have to prepare the team going forward. Stevie has made his decision. It is clear what is happening moving forward and if you look around the squad, there are a lot of young exciting talents.
"For us, life will go on but he still has an influence on this team. You look at our record for the games, the pressure games.
"Stevie is a still a wonderful player but, running alongside that, we have got a lot of young talented players that want to step up to the mark and take on that mantra for the future."
