Rodgers admits Liverpool will alter tactics for Arsenal clash

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers will be tinkering with his tactics in the Premier League clash against Arsenal on Monday.

The Reds were humbled 4-1 in the corresponding fixture last season which has prompted Rodgers to look at how his side, who usually enjoys a fair chunk of possession, will go about things.

Rodgers said in his pre-match conference: "If you look, and assess, the last 10 games Arsenal have lost at home, then for the teams that have won it's been about dangerous possession.

"Teams that have been there have only averaged four shots on target with 43 per cent possession.

"So it tells you, you can go there and not dominate the ball, but dominate the space. That's something that is important, especially in the big away games.

"For us we'll arrive tactically in a good mind about how we can win it.

"Like Arsenal, we do like to dominate the ball but there are some games you look at tactically what is going to get you the result and that's something we have done and looked at this week."
