Rock-bottom LA Galaxy shouldn't have been beaten says Arena

LA Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena believes his side should be undefeated in the 2014 MLS season.

The 2011 and 2012 champions currently sit bottom of the Western Conference with just nine point from eight matches but their boss suggests it could be a completely different story with any luck.

"I think we should be undefeated," Arena said.

"I'm not saying all wins, but we shouldn't have any marks in the loss column.

"We've actually played much better than our record indicates, but that's nobody's fault but our own.

"I'll leave it at that. We have plenty of time to demonstrate that we're a team that belongs at the top of the table, not at the bottom."

The Galaxy have the chance to get their floundering season back on track when they take on FC Dallas at the StubHub Center on Wednesday night.
