Rochina continues to shine for Blackburn reserves

Former Barcelona striker Ruben Rochina impressed for Blackburn Rovers reserves in their victory over Everton.

Rochina fired home the opener from 20 yards for his second goal in two reserve games as he pushes for more first team involvement.

He was paired with fellow January new boy Mauro Formica in attack but spent most of the game dropping deep and looking to dictate play.

He showed a sublime touch, good vision and the willingness to work and showed some signs that he could yet play a role in Rovers relegation fight this campaign.

Formica, a £3.5m capture from Newell's Old Boys, showed a nice touch at times but struggled to have much of an impact.
