Rochdale snap up young Man Utd keeper Heaton

Rochdale boss Keith Hill has signed Manchester United's highly-rated stopper Tom Heaton on loan until the end of December.

The 23-year-old stopper, who is an England Under-21 international, joined on Friday.

Heaton has had loan spells at Championship clubs Cardiff and QPR, only leaving Loftus Road on Thursday, and will stay at Spotland for the remainder of 2009.

Heaton told the club's official website: "I am looking to improve and develop and hopefully help get some wins for the team."

This sounds positive but have you seen him play Hans what are his attributes?

I'm hearing from the club that the dale are in negotiations with Dagenham and Redbridge over the possible signing of Midfielder Graham Montgomery. Attacking Midfielder Montgomery signed for the dagger a year ago and has been limited to sub appearances.

Many Dagenham fans think Montgomery is an exciting prospect and would like to keep hold of him , but the offer of first team football may be to much for him to turn down.

We expect to hear more about this when the transfer window opens in January.
