Norwich are in talks with League Two Rochdale over extending winger Simon Whaley's loan spell at Spotland. Whaley's initial one-month loan period is due to end on Sunday but Dale are seeking a further one-month extension.

Whaley, who made six appearances in all competitions for the Canaries before his loan switch, has featured in all four of Rochdale's games since joining them, scoring once.
