Rochdale boss Steve Eyre refuted suggestions from QPR counterpart Neil Warnock that the Premier League club were not serious about the Carling Cup following Dale's 2-0 victory at Loftus Road. After the game Warnock declared himself pleased that Rangers were out of the competition.
Eyre said: "Neil didn't say before the game that he doesn't take it seriously.
"To field a front line that has Adel Taarabt and Jay Bothroyd tells me it was taken quite seriously.
"We're not going to start saying we're going to the Carling Cup final, but I can't believe a player wouldn't want to play at Wembley."
