Bryan Robson is convinced James Beattie will flourish at Sheffield United as the Blades' style of play suits him better than Everton's.

Beattie scored his second goal in three games since arriving from the Toffees for £4million earlier this month and Robson believes he will thrive on the service from Blades' wide men.

Robson said: "Playing with wide men and getting crosses into the box suits James.

"At Everton, David Moyes likes to play 4-5-1 and I don't think that suits James, because he likes to play with a striker alongside him."
