West Brom defender Paul Robinson may be involved in a friendly with Stafford Rangers after his proposed move to Wigan was delayed.
The left-back looked set to move to Latics for an initial £1.5million, with the same again on top in add-ons.
But there is speculation now that Wigan want to restructure the deal following Robinson's medical.
"I can't elaborate on anything. It's a case of watch this space and see what develops," said a coy Tony Mowbray.
"It's important for me to focus on the players that are fit and available here.
"We've got another game tonight and we'll see if Paul is going to be involved in that.
"There's a fair chance he could be involved at Stafford if he hasn't gone to Wigan."
