West Brom defender Paul Robinson is confident Fulham midfielder Zoltan Gera will be a given a warm welcome this weekend.
"I'm sure I'll give him a call today or tomorrow to wind him up and see how he is getting on and how his family are doing," he told the Baggies website. "I do keep in touch with Zolly and speak to him every three or four weeks to find out how he is getting on.
"It's a big move for him to a totally different environment. His family have to get settled and he has to settle with the new players. I often ask him whether his English is getting any better now he is in London!
"He has conversations with my boy down the phone and they both shout 'little muppet' at each other.
"That's the type of person he is. He is a lovely lad and we were gutted to see him go. But he made the decision and that is part and parcel of football and life.
"He moved on but we do miss him in the dressing room because of his personality."
