Paul Robinson's days at Tottenham are numbered, it has been revealed.

The Observer says Tottenham began seeking a replacement for Robinson before Juande Ramos' appointment, prompted by the England goalkeeper's poor form and an outspoken defence of Martin Jol that was ill-received by the club's board.

Despite public statements to the contrary, sports director Damien Comolli continues to look for a new keeper.
