Paul Robinson has slapped in a transfer request at Tottenham, it has been revealed.
Robinson's decision has rocked Spurs before tonight's vital Carling Cup semi-final second leg clash with Arsenal.
The goalkeeper, 28, has been left out of the side for the last four games in favour of Radek Cerny and there were reports that he told the club he wanted a move after being dropped for the first leg against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium two weeks ago.
Manchester City have been monitoring his situation this month, but Spurs will not sell until they find a replacement.
